About the other iphone (apples version) where are the FCC sketches or patens from the paten office? Has this thing has even been in the FCC’s hands yet?

Does skype work reliably enough for people to use it full time?

I use it around the world, but about 1/5 times its not good enough. Same goes for screen sharing, eg Macromedia Breeze kaking out mid presentation. I'd like to see a site that did nothing but measure and display the point to point reliability of media across networks, in a neutral way.

This IS the iPhone. Internet-phone =VOIP=Skype(for me anyway). Skype is one of the greatest uses of High-speed internet IMO.

Heck , my Pocket PC even does Skype...

the JobsGimmickPhone doesn`t. It will sell well for a short time..

.then fall off a cliff as people realize they have been had my Steve(Ron Popeil)Jobs. Just like all the hype about the AppleTV only to find out it is a watered-down overpriced atempt to copy the Slingcatcher.

WOW, it a real phone.

I thought for a minute that it was released to put pressure on Apple, but it's a really nice VOIP phone. After reading this review, I think Apple is going to have a hard time in court.

That phone looks like the old Nokia phones...

it probably is because they were working on some stuff with Nokia to roll out later this year I believe. Anyway, the way Apple went about using the trademark ANYWAY was wrong. Bottom line, they wanted something and they tried to be nasty and just take it.

.. that's wrong.

But the phone...

it's nice. So nice it's makes me think, 'Quit crying Cisco because this phone makes your phone look like a "prepaid". Apple could try iFone, iCell, iTalk, iAM (since people take apple products so personally that speaking against them is like blasphemy), or whatever.

iMean iAM iTired iOf iHearing iN.E.more iStuff iBout iTAll.
